PUR found that consumers wanted more contemporary style options from its line of faucet mounts, which led to the development of a sleek stainless steel style finish. The PUR Stainless Steel Style Faucet Mount is an affordable way to complement stainless steel appliances. Along with existing PUR faucet mounts, the Stainless Steel Style Faucet Mount features an electronic filter life indicator and one-click installation along with a 360-degree swivel that fits most kitchen faucets.

Also, adding to PUR's existing pitcher line up, the 11-Cup Pitcher was designed to replicate the size of a gallon of milk, ensuring space efficiency while increasing water capacity and reducing the frequency of refills. Like PUR's existing pitchers, the 11-Cup Pitcher is also certified to reduce 2x more contaminants than the Brita pitcher(1) and features a new, easy-to-use, thumb activated fill lid and electronic filter life indicator.

"We wanted to meet a growing consumer preference for more contemporary style kitchens and with that in mind we created the PUR Stainless Steel Style Faucet Mount," said John Wojcik, Vice President of Marketing at Kaz. "In addition to providing a sleeker finish with the new Stainless Steel Style Faucet Mount, we developed the 11-Cup Pitcher for those pitcher consumers wanting superior contaminant removal with higher capacity. These two new options provide consumers with the ability to purchase a water filtration system that best fits their water consumption needs."

Research supported by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that there are up to 16 million waterborne illnesses per year associated with drinking water.( 2) PUR Faucet Mount Filtration Systems reduce 61 contaminants including heavy metals, agricultural pesticides, industrial pollutants, pharmaceuticals(3), microbial cysts, and chlorine taste and odor. PUR's newest and existing products offer superior water filtration for consumers, providing them with the peace of mind that they are consuming quality and safe drinking water.

PUR Water Filters also offer cost-savings over bottled water consumption. Filtered water is about one-tenth the cost of bottled water, which can lead to a savings of up to $1,000 per year for a family of four!(4 )The Stainless Steel Style Faucet Mount filters 100 gallons of drinking water per filter while the 11-Cup Pitcher filters 40 gallons of drinking water per filter.
