HBL Investment Fund (the Fund), formerly PICIC Investment Fund, is a Pakistan-based closed-end equity fund. The objective of the Fund is capital growth of the certificate holders for which investments would be made in the available opportunities, while considering acceptable risk parameters and applicable rules and regulations. The principal business of the Fund is to invest in listed equity securities with an objective to generate capital growth. The Fund's portfolio of investments includes its investments in various sectors, such as oil and gas exploration companies, fertilizer, chemicals, engineering, power generation and distribution, commercial banks, insurance, cement, pharmaceuticals, automobile parts and accessories, cable and electrical goods, tobacco and personal goods. The Fund is managed by PICIC Asset Management Company Limited. Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited is the trustee of the Fund.
