Grupo de Moda SOMA S.A. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was BRL 1,295.16 million compared to BRL 1,205.38 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 85.37 million compared to BRL 118.05 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.11 compared to BRL 0.15 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.11 compared to BRL 0.15 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was BRL 2,497.85 million compared to BRL 2,223.04 million a year ago. Net income was BRL 134.27 million compared to BRL 160.58 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.17 compared to BRL 0.2 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was BRL 0.17 compared to BRL 0.2 a year ago.
