Great Lakes Aviation, Ltd. announced that Frontier Airlines (Frontier) as part of Frontier's transformation to an ultra-low cost carrier, that their business model, and subsequent change to a new reservation platform, will no longer allow for interline agreements with any other carriers. As a result, effective October 1, 2014, the company's code share agreement with Frontier will be terminated. The company cannot at this time predict the effect which the termination of the Frontier code share agreement will have on the company.

The company expects that passengers who otherwise would have booked travel with Frontier, will purchase directly with the company or through other code share and interline e-ticketing partners since the company provides exclusive scheduled air service to the destinations it serves.
