FALCO HOLDINGS Co., Ltd. (TSE:4671) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase 300,000 shares, representing 2.83% of the outstanding shares, at ¥1,571 per share for ¥471.3 million. The purpose of the program is to enhance capital efficiency and to implement a flexible capital policy in response to changes in the business environment. As of March 31, 2020, the company had 10,582,461 shares outstanding and 697,716 shares in treasury.
FALCO HOLDINGS Co.,Ltd is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the clinical testing business and the dispensing pharmacy business. The Company operates in two business segments. The Clinical Testing segment is engaged in the contracted clinical specimen testing business for hospitals and clinics, as well as the development and sale of electronic medical charts and other medical information systems, and the wholesale of in-vitro diagnostic drugs. The Dispensing Pharmacy segment is engaged in the operation of dispensing pharmacies.
