CANONSBURG, Pa. (AP) _ Equitrans Midstream Corporation (ETRN) on Tuesday reported a third-quarter loss of $506.5 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Canonsburg, Pennsylvania-based company said it had a loss of $1.20 per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 9 cents per share.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 13 cents per share.

The company posted revenue of $331.8 million in the period.
