Plenitude, Eni's renewable energy subsidiary, has signed an agreement to join the partnership between BlueFloat Energy and Sener Renewable Investments to develop offshore wind projects in Spain.
The joint venture, launched 3 years ago, has a portfolio of about 1.25 GW of floating offshore wind projects in Galicia, Catalonia and the Canary Islands, a note says.
In Spain, Plenitude has photovoltaic and wind farms already operational with a total installed capacity of 430 MW, plants under construction of 1 GW and more than 2 GW of projects under development.
