ALGIERS (Reuters) - Algeria will sign new agreements with Eni in 2023, including on electricity supply.

Tewfik Hakkar, CEO of state energy company Sonatrach, said this in an interview with Reuters, while a visit to the country by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is expected next week.

This year, Hakkar added, Algeria will increase hydrocarbon production to about 200 million tons of oil equivalent (TOE), a figure it has not reached since 2010.
