EMCO Industries Limited Announces Earnings Results for the Third Quarter and Nine Months Ended March 31, 2019

EMCO Industries Limited announced earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended March 31, 2019. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of PKR 334,067,637 against PKR 343,698,795 for the same period a year ago. Operating profit was PKR 68,917,907 against PKR 26,646,907 for the same period a year ago. Profit after tax was PKR 53,804,487 against PKR 6,901,831 for the same period a year ago. Earnings per share was PKR 1.54 per share against PKR 0.20 per share for the same period a year ago.
For the nine months, the company reported net sales of PKR 999,370,398 against PKR 851,440,652 for the same period a year ago. Operating profit was PKR 188,909,064 against PKR 60,470,835 for the same period a year ago. Profit after tax was PKR 106,473,419 against PKR 29,109,802 for the same period a year ago. Earnings per share was PKR 3.04 per share against PKR 0.83 per share for the same period a year ago.
EMCO Industries Limited is a Pakistan-based company, which is principally engaged in the manufacturing and sale of high/low tension electrical porcelain insulators and switchgears. In addition to electric porcelain, the Company runs a full-fledged department for the production of chemical porcelain, such as acid-proof lining bricks, Raschig rings, saddles and special refractories.
