Soukai Drug Co., Ltd. concluded a contract to acquire Cocoro Corporation from Echo Trading Co., Ltd. (TSE:7427) for ¥500 million on November 12, 2015. Soukai Drug will acquire 5,600 shares of Cocoro in the deal. For the year ending February 2015, Cocoro Corporation had total assets of ¥647 million, net liabilities of ¥258 million, sales of ¥2.24 billion, operating profit of ¥1 million and net loss of ¥6 million. The Board of Directors of Echo Trading Co., Ltd. resolved the transaction. The transaction is expected to close by January 15, 2016.
