Kokubu & Co., Ltd. entered into contract to acquire an additional 12.94% stake in Echo Trading Co., Ltd. (TSE:7427) from Ryoichi Takahashi and Kowan Co.,Ltd. on March 14, 2013. Ryoichi Takahashi will sell 0.46 million shares and Kowan will sell 0.32 million shares of Echo. Post acquisition, Kokubu will own 18.3% stake representing 1.1 million shares in Echo. Kokubo & Co., Ltd. will dispatch 1 Director to Echo Trading. The Board of Directors of ECHO TRADING CO., LTD. approved the deal. The deal is expected to close on March 18, 2013.
