On March 30, 2022, Johnese M. Spisso informed Douglas Emmett, Inc. that she would not stand for re-election as a director of the Company. Ms. Spisso's term will end at the conclusion of the annual meeting of shareholders currently scheduled to be held on May 26, 2022. Ms. Spisso informed the Company that her decision was not the result of any disagreement with the Company's management or its board of directors.
