Doha Insurance Group QPSC, formerly Doha Insurance Co QSC, is an Qatar-based company engaged in the business of insurance and reinsurance activities. The Company is organized into three business segments: the Marine and Aviation segment covers marine cargo, aviation hull & liability, aviation hull war, aviation loss of license and airports authorities operators legal liabilities; the Motor segment includes third party liability insurance, comprehensive insurance, companies’ auto fleet insurance, and fire insurance, and the General insurance segment offers engineering insurance including contractors’ insurance. The Company also operates an Islamic Takaful branch under the brand name Doha Takaful that offers insurance and reinsurance activities in accordance to Islamic Sharia principals on a non-usury basis in all insurance areas.
