The board of directors of China Investment Fund Company Limited announced that Mr. Luk Hong Man, Hammond has been appointed as an executive Director with effect from 21 July 2016. Mr. Luk, aged 35, is currently the chief executive officer of the Group. Mr. Luk is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Mr. Luk is also a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries and the Hong Kong Institute of Directors respectively. Through joining the Group in July 2011 as an executive Director and financial controller and taking up additional duties as chief executive officer and a member of the risk management committee in April 2016, Mr. Luk has gained experience in investment management and corporate governance. Prior to joining the Group in July 2011, Mr. Luk had worked as an executive director and compliance officer in Media Asia Group Holdings Limited and an executive officer in charge of the accounting and finance department in China Public Procurement Limited. In accordance with the Company's article of association, Mr. Luk will hold office until the forthcoming general meeting of the Company after his appointment and will be eligible for re-election at that meeting and is thereafter subject to rotation requirements and re-election.
