Sehat Kahani announced that it has received $1 million in a round of funding on March 15, 2021. The transaction included participation from Islamic Development Bank, Investment Arm, KASB Group, Impact Investment Exchange (Asia) Pte. Ltd., 10Pearls, LLC, Mentors Fund LLC, Korean Impact Collective Funds, Din Textile Mills Limited (KASE:DINT) and other angel investors.
Din Textile Mills Limited is engaged in the manufacture and sale of yarn and greige fabric. The Companyâs segments include Spinning, Weaving and Other Segments. The Spinning segment relates to the production and sale of yarn. The Weaving segment relates to the production and sale of greige and dyed fabric. It is also engaged in providing fiber and yarn dyeing service to both inter-segment and external customers and generation of power for inter-segment sale only. Its products include BCI Yarn, COM4, Cone Dyed Yarn, Din Komfort with Lycra, Din Melange and Shades. It offers reactive dyes for cotton; vat dyes for cellulosic and regenerated cellulosic fibers and their blend; cotton yarn and cotton fibers and their blends; surgical yarn and cotton; core spun yarns, and bleach yarn (for towels). It provides a range of carded and combed spun yarn for use in denim, woven and knitted fabrics, in weft of all fabrics that need stretch and in warp of all fabrics needing stretch.
