Designone Japan, Inc. announced non-consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended November 30, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 600 million compared to JPY 467 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 149 million compared to JPY 163 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 153 million compared to JPY 165 million a year ago. Net income was JPY 99 million or JPY 6.52 diluted per share compared to JPY 86 million or JPY 5.74 diluted per share a year ago.
The company provided earnings guidance for the fiscal year ending August 31, 2018. For the year, the company expects net sales of JPY 2,646 million, operating income of JPY 640 million, ordinary income of JPY 651 million and net income of JPY 400 million or JPY 26.57 per share.
