Dainichiseika Color & Chemicals Mfg. Co., Ltd. (TSE:4116) signed an agreement to acquire remaining 1.3% in Ukima Chemicals & Color Mfg. Co., Ltd from Koji Takahashi for ¥12.4 million on February 9, 2017. The consideration comprises issuance of 0.018 million shares of Dainichiseika Color & Chemicals Mfg. Co., Ltd. at the exchange ratio of 2.018. For the year ended March 31, 2016, Ukima Chemicals & Color Mfg. Co., Ltd reported total assets of ¥12.9 billion, net assets of ¥8.9 billion, operating income of ¥1.5 billion and net sales of ¥12.2 billion. The resolution is approved by the Board of Directors of Dainichiseika Color & Chemicals Mfg. Co., Ltd. The deal is expected to close on March 13, 2017.
