Daiko Denshi Tsushin, Ltd. (TSE:8023) agreed to acquire additional 41.1% stake in Daiwa Software Research Co., Ltd. from Daiwa Securities Group Inc. (TSE:8601), Daiwa SB Investments Ltd., Daiwa Institute of Research Ltd., Daiwa Office Services Co., Ltd. and Daiwa Corporate Investment Co.,Ltd. on February 8, 2019. Post completion of the transaction, Daiko Denshi Tsushin, Ltd. will hold 90.8% stake in , Daiwa Software Research Co., Ltd. As of March 31, 2018, Daiwa Software Research Co., Ltd. reported revenue of ¥3437 million, total assets of ¥3079 million, operating income of ¥68 million, net income of ¥57 million and net assets of ¥1211 million. The transaction is expected to complete on February 15, 2019.
DAIKO DENSHI TSUSHIN, LTD. is a company engaged in the sale of information communications equipment and the provision of related services. The Company is engaged in the sales, design, maintenance of office automation equipment, electronic computers, communications equipment, as well as the development of systems and software. The Information Communications Equipment division sells office automation (OA) equipment, electronic computers, electronic exchangers, communications equipment and related hardware and software. The Solution Services division is engaged in the provision of services, including system and software development, installation and maintenance of electronic computers and communication equipment, as well as maintenance and management for building-related facilities.
