Corporacion de Ferias y Exposiciones SA (Corferias Bogota) is a Colombia-based company principally engaged in the promotion of the industrial and commercial development at regional and international level. The Company specializes in the organization of fairs, exhibitions, events and conventions for various sectors both nationwide and abroad. The Company’s facilities include a fairground city which comprises 23 pavilions with outdoor areas, as well as such complementary services as a convention center, a protocol room, an auditorium, food alleys, parking lots and information centers, among others. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned fully consolidated subsidiary Corferias del Pacifico SAC, as well as it also held minor stake in such entities as Alpopular Almacen General de Deposito SA and La Previsora SA, and Camara de Comercio de Bogota which was its majority shareholder.
