Cobre Limited Publishes Assay Results from its Regional Diamond Drilling Programme Completed in Late 2022 and Commencement of 2023 Drilling Programme

Cobre Limited has published assay results from its regional diamond drilling programme completed in late 2022, in addition to the commencement of its 2023 drilling programme at the Ngami Copper Project (NCP) in Botswana. The 2022 regional drilling programme confirmed notable copper/silver Cu/Ag mineralisation at three targets, and anomalous Cu/Ag at a further two targets. Cobre has now commenced its 2023 drilling programme at the NCP, with two diamond drill rigs currently drilling a 5,000m programme.

A further planned 10,000m drilling programme at Kitlanya West is expected to provide additional Cu/Ag targets for diamond drilling.

Company Profile

Cobre Limited is a mineral exploration company with a focus on base and precious metals, particularly copper in the Kalahari Copper Belt (KCB) and Western Australia. The Company owns 100% of an extensive land package of prospective copper and silver exploration tenements in the KCB. Its Botswana projects include the Ngami Copper Project (NCP), Kitlanya West Copper Project, Okavango Copper Project and Kitlanya East. Its Western Australian projects include the Perrinvale Project and Sandiman Project. The NCP project area includes two large anticlinal features. Kitlanya West Copper Project straddles the northern margin of the KCB, including an estimated 500 kilometers (km) of prospective DâKar / Ngwako Pan Formation contact. Kitlanya East is located immediately south of Sandfire Resources Motheo Production hub. The Perrinvale Project is located approximately 260 km NW of Kalgoorlie in the Yilgarn Craton of Western Australia. Sandiman Project is located in the Upper Gascoyne Shire.
