Chugai Mining Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the quarter, the company announced revenue of JPY 6,399 million against JPY 10,095 million a year ago. Operating loss was JPY 118 million against JPY 62 million a year ago. Recurring loss was JPY 144 million against JPY 79 million a year ago. Net loss was JPY 95 million or JPY 0.33 per share against JPY 79 million or JPY 0.27 per share a year ago.
The company provided consolidated earnings guidance for the first six months and for the full year for the year ending March 31, 2020. For the first six months, the company expects to report revenue of JPY 14,400 million, operating profit of JPY 140 million, declared profit of JPY 130 million and current net profit of JPY 20 million or JPY 0.07 per share.
For the full year, the company expects to report revenue of JPY 29,400 million, operating profit of JPY 350 million, declared profit of JPY 310 million and current net profit of JPY 100 million or JPY 0.35 per share.

The Machinery segment purchases and sells used machine tools, sheet metal machines and others. The Investment segment is engaged in the possession, trading and operation of securities. The Content segment plans, designs, manufactures, and sells toys and play equipment, and sells, wholesales, plans, and develops character products.
