Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 47,500 shares, representing 1.1% of its share capital, at ¥4,750 per share for ¥225.63 million in total. The company is repurchasing its shares through the Tokyo Stock Exchange off-floor treasury share trading (ToSTNeT-3). The company will repurchase its shares in order to implement a flexible capital strategy which responds to changes in the business environment, along with aiming to returning profits by improving capital efficiency. As of May 31, 2017, the company had 4,300,720 shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) and 0 shares in treasury.
