Re: Chief Regulatory Officer at BSM Market Supervision
B3 hereby informs you that as of July 1, 2021, André Eduardo Demarco will begin his job as Chief Regulatory Officer at BSM Market Supervision, which is the company responsible for monitoring the markets operated by B3. This follows approval by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Brazil (CVM) on November 3, 2020, and complies with the transition period established by the regulator.

André Demarco has wide experience in the capital markets and has a mission to make BSM to grow ever closer to the market, guaranteeing guidance, integrity and protection for the investors. In compliance with the rules established in CVM Instruction 461/07, André Demarco was elected for a three-year term.
B3 thanks Marcos Torres for the valuable work that he has performed as BSM Chief Regulatory Officer for nearly a decade. His dedication and commitment have allowed the capital market to strengthen and develop, implementing surveillance best practice, as well as a regulation that maintains the health of the market and its investors.
