Avenir LNG Limited is a Bermuda-based integrated global energy company. The objective of the Company and its subsidiaries is to acquire and operate LNG assets and supply small-scale LNG to the off-grid industry, power generation and transport fuel sectors, as well as provide infrastructure to support the development of LNG as a marine fuel. Its segments include Assets on charter segment, which is bareboat or time charters with external customers; Assets for trading segment, which is focused on sale of LNG and rendering of services through the Company’s vessels and HiGas terminal; and Corporate segment, which includes corporate related items and the result of other insignificant operations not reportable under other segments. The Company is engaged as a small-scale liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplier. The Company owns Higas LNG terminal in the Port of Oristano in Sardinia. Its Higas distributes LNG via road tanker both directly to industrial users and gas distribution companies.
