(Alliance News) - Askoll EVA Spa on Wednesday evening announced that it has received a new order from customer Cooltra, a company operating in sustainable two-wheeled mobility in Europe with a fleet of more than 20,000 vehicles. The value of the order is approximately EUR1.3 million.

The agreement calls for the supply of 400 eS2 Sharing scooters, do 80 batteries and 60 chargers, by the end of the first half of 2023.

Gian Franco Nanni - managing director of Askoll EVA - said, "The new year has started under the best auspices, given the new order from Cooltra. The new scooters will be destined to strengthen their sharing fleet in Europe, ready to seize the renewed consumer interest in sustainable mobility."

"We don't want to stop here, however, and that is why we are working to try to close new distribution agreements in some strategic European markets and thus continue to lay the groundwork for future growth. We are also looking for new business outlets in the field of electrification kits - motor and battery - for electric mountain bikes, a rapidly developing market where we at Askoll EVA are ready to seize all opportunities that will arise," concluded Nanni.

Askoll EVA closed Wednesday's session in the green by 1.3 percent at EUR0.60 per share.
