Asahi Net, Inc. (TSE:3834) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 950,000 shares, representing 3.43% of its share capital, for ¥606.1 million. The shares will be repurchased at a price of ¥638 per share.
The purpose of the program is to improve capital efficiency, enhance shareholder returns, and enable the implementation of flexible capital policies that respond to changes in the business environment. The program will expire on May 10, 2024. As of March 31, 2024, the company had 27,733,013 shares in issue (excluding treasury stock) and 4,266,987 shares in treasury.

The Internet connection service is engaged in the provision of a communication environment that allows interconnection with sites and networks, and various access lines for members to connect Internet.
