UNIONDALE, NY (January 15, 2020) - Arbor Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE:ABR), a leading multifamily and commercial mortgage lender, recently financed a Fannie Mae DUS® loan in South Florida. The 115-unit property received $11M in refinance cash-out funding through the program. The terms provide for a 10-year loan with five years of interest-only payments.

Alexander Kaushansky of Arbor's New York City office originated the loan.

'This asset is part of a long-term portfolio held by our client who wanted to recast existing debt to lower the interest rate and payments,' said Kaushansky. 'The customized solution provides for increased funds to upgrade the property through renovations.'

Built in 1973, Waterford Villas is a garden-style multifamily property spread across 30 single-story buildings on more than six acres of beautifully landscaped land. Located in the city of Margate, FL, with easy access to shopping, the community offers high-speed internet access, a swimming pool and an on-site leasing office.
