Acciona, S.A. (BME:ANA) agreed to acquire an unknown majority stake in Scutum Logistic S.L. from Caixa Innvierte Industria, SCR, S.A. managed by Caixa Capital Risc, SGEIC, S.A., Repsol Energy Ventures, S.A., CDTI, Investment Arm, a public business entity dependent on the Ministry of Science and Innovation, Radix Capital, Cayac SPORT, S.L. and MGS, Seguros y Reaseguros S.A. on January 11, 2021. In the acquisition, Acciona, S.A. will acquire 10% from Caixa Innvierte Industria, SCR, S.A. managed by Caixa Capital Risc, SGEIC, S.A., 18.34% from Repsol Energy Ventures, S.A.,12.55% stake from CDTI, Investment Arm, 2% stake from MGS, Seguros y Reaseguros S.A., 5% stake from Radix Capital Limited and an unknown stake from Cayac SPORT, S.L. Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Scutum Logistic S.L., Carlos Sotelo, will continue to lead Scutum Logistic S.L. The transaction has been approved by The National Markets and Competition Commission. Enrique Carretero of Baker & McKenzie Madrid S.L. acted as legal advisor to Caixa Capital Risc, SGEIC, S.A.
Acciona, S.A. is a building and public works group organized around five areas of activity:
- design, construction and maintenance of infrastructures and buildings: roads, highways, tunnels, railroads, hydraulic facilities, wastewater processing plants, parking lots, hospitals, residences, etc.;
- energy services: production of electricity (wind, water, solar, and biomass), engineering and construction of wind power plants, production of aero-generators and bio-diesel fuel;
- water environmental services: design, construction and management of desalination units, distribution of potable water, wastewater treatment, etc.;
- services: cleaning services (streets, hospitals, etc.), airport handling services, collection and processing of wastes, logistics services, etc.;
