MANILA, Jan 31 (Reuters) - The Philippine economy grew 5.6% in the fourth quarter, the statistics agency said on Wednesday.

Economists in a Reuters poll had expected gross domestic product growth of 5.2% in the last three months of 2023 from a year earlier. Third quarter growth was upwardly revised to 6.0% from 5.9%. (Reporting by Mikhail Flores and Neil Jerome Morales; Editing by Martin Petty)
