ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Pakistan's Supreme Court on Monday scrapped lifetime bans from contesting elections for people with past convictions, Chief Justice Faez Isa said, paving the way for former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to run in next month's national election.
