DORTMUND (dpa-AFX) - Semiconductor manufacturer Elmos benefited from high demand in all segments in the second quarter. Compared to the same period last year, sales climbed by almost 29 percent to 136 million Euro, the SDax-listed company announced on Thursday. Earnings before interest and taxes (Ebit) rose by more than a third to 34.1 million euros. The bottom line was a profit after minority interests of 23 million euros, seven million more than a year earlier. Due to new product ramp-ups, the Group also expects dynamic sales growth in the second half of the year and confirmed its annual targets./jcf/jha/
