Zephyr Textiles Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended March 31, 2018. For the nine months, the company reported sales of PKR 2,809,169,001 against PKR 2,617,255,479 a year ago. Operating profit was PKR 176,135,818 against PKR 156,930,208 a year ago. Profit before tax was PKR 52,648,966 against PKR 66,865,551 a year ago. Profit after tax was PKR 28,014,270 or PKR 0.47 per share against PKR 50,303,583 or PKR 0.85 per share a year ago.
For the quarter, the company reported sales of PKR 1,135,426,196 against PKR 906,024,312 a year ago. Operating profit was PKR 95,191,152 against PKR 55,776,982 a year ago. Profit before tax was PKR 65,813,617 against PKR 27,644,144 a year ago. Profit after tax was PKR 55,153,510 or PKR 0.93 per share against PKR 21,856,483 or PKR 0.37 per share a year ago.
