Young Optics Inc. announced that the top floor area of the Company's Xin'an Plant, which was leased to Wistron Corporation, experienced a fire incident on the evening of March 25th, 2024. Emergency notification was made to the fire department for control and rescue operations, and the fire has currently been extinguished. The preliminary cause of the accident is assessed to be the burning of an outdoor air conditioning unit belonging to Wistron Corporation.

Further verification is pending from the fire department. The Company promptly evacuated employees following fire safety guidelines upon the occurrence of the fire, resulting in no casualties. The timeline for the restoration of damaged factory buildings and production equipment is pending confirmation with relevant vendors.

Operations will remain suspended from the time of the incident until restoration is completed. The Company has adequate property insurance and business interruption insurance coverage. Actual losses are subject to assessment.

Insurance claims procedures will be initiated following the fire department's determination of the accident's cause. In the future, lessees will be required to strengthen safety maintenance mechanisms within the factory premises.
