Young Fast Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2021. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 422.85 million compared to TWD 272.12 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 149.45 million compared to TWD 143.23 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1 compared to TWD 0.96 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1 compared to TWD 0.95 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.99 compared to TWD 0.95 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.99 compared to TWD 0.94 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 1,079.59 million compared to TWD 626.5 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 192.03 million compared to TWD 155.96 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.29 compared to TWD 1.04 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 1.28 compared to TWD 1.04 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.27 compared to TWD 1.03 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 1.26 compared to TWD 1.03 a year ago.
Young Fast Optoelectronics Co., Ltd is principally engaged in the development, design, manufacture and distribution of touch panels and others. The Company operates its business through two segments: Optoelectronic segment and Mechanical and Electronic segment. The Optoelectronic segment provides projection capacitive touch panels and four-wire resistance touch panels. The Mechanical and Electronic segment provides 69- and 161-kilovolt (KV) connection boxes, 69- and 161-KV terminal boxes and 69- and 161-KV power cable protection equipment. Its touch panels are applied in manufacture of smart phones, mobile phones, personal navigation devices and other consumer electronics. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
