YONEX Co., Ltd. completed the acquisition of 86.8% stake in Bridgestone Tecnifibre Co., Ltd. from Bridgestone Sports Co., Ltd.

YONEX Co., Ltd. (TSE:7906) agreed to acquire a 86.8% stake in Bridgestone Tecnifibre Co., Ltd. from Bridgestone Sports Co., Ltd. on December 6, 2021. As part of the transaction, YONEX will acquire 33,411 shares in Bridgestone Tecnifibre. Post completion, YONEX will hold 86.8% and Tecnifibre 13.2% in Bridgestone Tecnifibre. The turnover of Bridgestone Tecnifibre for the year ended December 31, 2020 was approximately THB 545 million. The transaction is expected to complete before December 31, 2021. Bridgestone expects a minor the impact on its consolidated financial results for 2021.

The Company distributes it's products within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including Americas, Europe, and Asia. The Sports Facilities segment is mainly engaged in the management and operation of golf courses, tennis driving ranges and golf driving ranges.
