(16 January 2017, Hong Kong) Yingde Gases Group Company Limited ("Yingde Gases" or the "Group"; SEHK stock code: 02168) is pleased to announce that the Group has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shanxi Meijin Energy Group ("Shanxi Meijin") to develop an environmental business model for sustainable development. Shanxi Meijin is a major coke and coal chemical company in China and the country's largest coking coal producer and seller. Shanxi Meijin has been a customer of Yingde Gases since 2007.

Under the agreement, the two companies will build on their existing cooperative projects by collaborating on such projects as chemical engineering, environmental protection and clean, efficient energy conversion through the combination of Shanxi Meijin's advantage of rich resources and Yingde Gases' advanced technology and engineering construction services. The projects will initially include four in mainland China and four in foreign countries.

Mr. Zhao Xiangti, Chairman of Yingde Gases said, "This agreement will mark the beginning of our long-term, comprehensive strategic cooperation with Shanxi Meijin Energy Group. We aim to set up a platform that allows all the businesses of the fuel, energy and chemical industries to communicate, collaborate and share information.
