Wiseway Group Limited has provided an update after changes to the composition of its Board. Ms. Astrid Raetze has been appointed Non-Executive Chair, taking over the role from Florence Tong who has been acting as interim Executive Chair since April 2022. Ms. Tong, co-founder of Wiseway, remains on the Board and returns to her former role as Managing Director.

Mr. Jim Tong replaces Mr. Ken Tong on the Board as a Non-Executive Director. These changes are effective 27 February 2023.Ms Raetze has over 20 years of experience across the law, banking, and fintech sectors and is currently a Partner and Legal Director at ABML Consulting. Previous roles include experience as a Partner at professional services consultancy KPMG, Partner and Global Head of FinTech at multinational law firm Baker McKenzie and General Counsel at investment manager Vanguard.

She was first appointed to Wiseway's Board in April 2022. Jim Tong has a long connection to the Group, having led a series of business development functions to secure new air freight partnerships and operating routes, both internationally and across Australia's major cities. He is currently a Management Consultant at a leading consulting company, advising several large Australian organisations.

Ms Raetze has over 20 years of experience across the law, banking, and fintech sectors and is currently a Partner and Legal Director at ABML Consulting. Previous roles include experience as a Partner at professional services consultancy KPMG, Partner and Global Head of FinTech at multinational law firm Baker McKenzie and General Counsel at investment manager Vanguard. She has extensive experience as an Executive Director and Non-Executive Director at a range of listed and unlisted entities. Jim Tong is a Management Consultant at a leading consulting company, providing strategic consultation and advisory services to large Australian companies. As well as delivering business development services to Wiseway, he has previously worked at Quantium, Herbert Smith Freehills, Baker McKenzie and KPMG.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Distinction) and Law (First Class Honours) from UNSW and was recognised on the UNSW Law Dean's List for excellence in academic performance.
