Wanshih Electronic Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 402.712 million compared to TWD 348.131 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 15.828 million compared to TWD 7.216 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 8.634 million compared to TWD 1.596 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.12 compared to TWD 0.02 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 891.412 million compared to TWD 640.304 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 14.884 million compared to TWD 25.522 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 3.666 million compared to TWD 12.996 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.05 compared to TWD 0.19 a year ago.
WanShih Electronic Co., Ltd. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the development, manufacture and sales of cables for information and communication devices. The Companyâs primary products include the internal and external coaxial cable assemblies and antennas of information and communication products. Its products are mainly used in the notebook computers, liquid crystal display (LCD) televisions, mobile phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), desktop computers, industrial computers, digital versatile disc (DVD) players, digital video recorders and wireless communications equipment. The Company operates through two business segments. The Taiwan Market segment is mainly engaged in the research, development and sales businesses. The Mainland China segment is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sales businesses. The Companyâs products are mainly exported to Asia, the Americas and Europe.
