(Alliance News) - Vistry Group PLC on Tuesday said it had won a contract to assist in delivery of a near-600 home development in northwest London.

Vistry, a Kings Hill-based housebuilder, has been chosen by Sovereign Network Group Ltd to construct and deliver a development at Merrick Place, Ealing, worth GBP157 million.

The "innovative, residential led scheme", will create 575 new mixed-tenure homes along with commercial floorspace across four separate buildings.

The car-free development will include affordable homes for rent, alongside 926 space for bicycle parking.

Vistry Chief Executive Greg Fitzgerald said that the company is "delighted to be appointed on this fantastic new development in Ealing working with one of our established partners."

Shares in Vistry were down 0.5% at 1,300.08 pence each in London on Tuesday.
