On Tuesday evening, Visa reported adjusted net income up 17% to $5.1 billion for its second quarter 2023-24, or $2.51 per share (+20%), on revenues up 10% to $8.8 billion.

The payment solutions group reported, among other things, a 16% jump in cross-border volumes, while its processed transactions grew by 11%, against a backdrop of stable consumer spending.
