The Company operates through the restaurant segment. It operates a chain of restaurants serving standardized food items in a quick-serve format at various locations on national highways, state highways and cities. The Company's brands include Vithal Kamats, Urban Dhaba and Kamats. The Company grants the franchise Kamats and Vithal Kamats brands to restaurants owned/operated by other parties. It has given franchisees across the states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. It also has a venture in production of ready to eat food products, variety of namkeens which include mini bhakarvadi, methi gathiya, and kabuli chana, etc. which are available at the restaurants of the Company and are distributed through wholesalers, retail shops, sweet marts, and others. It operates approximately 40 restaurants in India.
