USCB FINANCIAL HOLDINGS, INC. Former president and CEO of TotalBank is resuming the same position at U.S. Century Bank. Luis de la Aguilera will join U.S. Century as president and CEO on Dec. 21, 2015.
De la Aguilera tendered his resignation at TotalBank on Dec. 14, 2015. He follows former TotalBank executive Bengino Pazos, who was the Chief Credit Officer at TotalBank and will resume the same role at U.S. Century if approved by regulators.
If approved by regulators, de la Aguilera will replace outgoing president and CEO Carlos J. Davila. De la Aguilera is an experienced Miami banker, having worked at Miami-based Ocean Bank before joining TotalBank. There have been many changes at U.S. Century in the past few years and de la Aguilera's appointment signals a new era for the community bank.
