United Palm Oil Industry Public Company Limited is a Thailand-based sustainable palm oil business company engaged in the manufacture of crude palm oil and crude palm kernel oil. The Company produces crude palm oil (CPO) from its own source of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) as well as FFB purchased from growers in the surrounding area of the crushing mill. The Companyâs products include CPO, crude palm kernel oil (CPKO), and palm kernel cake (PKC), which are important raw materials for products such as edible (cooking) oil, animal feed, butter, margarine, soap, shampoo, detergent, cleansing liquid, cosmetics, as well as food ingredients for snacks and ice cream. The Company operates through two business segments: oil palm plantation, crude palm oil and crude palm kernel oil processing, and generation of electricity from biogases and biomasses. The Company owns oil palm plantations in Krabi and Surathani provinces, with a combined planted area of more than 21,349 rai.
