HemCon offers nine product lines under product categories, such as tissue adhesives, sealants and glues area of wound closure, in the professional and direct-to-consumer (DTC) markets. The wound care products are based on chitosan and oxidized cellulose technology platforms. Chitosan is a polysaccharide derived from the exoskeletons of shellfish. HemCon Europe's oxidized cellulose is derived from non-genetically modified cotton linters.
