TienPin United Enterprise CO., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 8.475 million compared to TWD 15.524 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 3.734 million compared to operating Income of TWD 2.902 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 6.890 million compared to net income of TWD 8.102 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.11 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.14 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 24.107 million compared to TWD 75.087 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 11.403 million compared to operating Income of TWD 15.901 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 11.942 million compared to net income of TWD 34.291 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.19 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.56 a year ago.
TienPin United Enterprise CO., LTD (formerly: DataFab Systems Inc.) is engaged in the research, development, design, manufacture, assembly, testing and distribution of computer peripheral products. The Company provides card readers, adapters, express cards, liquid crystal displays, multimedia players, flash memory cards, as well as liquid crystal displays (LCDs), among others. During the year ended December 31, 2011, the Company obtained approximately 70.39% of its revenue from its card reader business. The Company distributes its products within the domestic market and to overseas markets, including the Americas, the rest of Asia and Europe.
