Tay Two Co., Ltd. (JASDAQ:7610) announced a private placement of 1,818,800 treasury shares at ¥55 per share for gross proceeds of ¥100,034,000 with existing investor, YAK Corporation, investment vehicle of Yoshio Akiyama on April 13, 2017. Pursuant to the transaction, the investor shall hold 21.05% stake in the company. The transaction has been approved by board of directors of the company. The transaction is expected to close by May 1, 2017. The company will incur issue expenses of ¥2,000,000 and will receive net proceeds of ¥98,034,000.
TAY TWO CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company primarily engaged in the multi-package sales business. The Company is engaged in the operation of Furuhon Ichiba stores, the franchise business of Furuhon Ichiba stores, as well as the operation of Trecapark stores, Book Square stores, TSUTAYA stores, MO-ZEAL stores and other stores. The Company also operates Furuhon Ichiba stores as a franchisee through affiliated companies.
