Tay Two Co., Ltd. (JASDAQ:7610) announced a private placement of 1,852,000 shares at ¥54 per share for gross proceeds of ¥100,008,000 on June 13, 2017. The transaction will include participation from new investor, A-too, Inc. On closing, the investor will hold 3.39% stake in the company. The company will incur issue expenses of ¥3,000,000 in the transaction. The net proceeds from the transaction will be ¥97,008,000. The company and the investor entered into a capital tie up contract on the same date. The company will issue the shares via third party allotment. The settlement date for the transaction is expected on June 30, 2017. The transaction was approved by the board of directors of the company.
TAY TWO CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company primarily engaged in the multi-package sales business. The Company is engaged in the operation of Furuhon Ichiba stores, the franchise business of Furuhon Ichiba stores, as well as the operation of Trecapark stores, Book Square stores, TSUTAYA stores, MO-ZEAL stores and other stores. The Company also operates Furuhon Ichiba stores as a franchisee through affiliated companies.
