The companies plan to further develop joint projects in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The discussion of partnership between the Tatarstan and Uzbek oil companies took place with the participation of the General Director of Tatneft Nail Maganov and the Chairman of the Management Board of Uzbekneftegaz Mehriddin Abdullaev.

The parties discussed joint projects in the geological exploration, workover of wells, well drilling, personnel training, expanding the network of filling stations, as well as the possibility of implementing small-tonnage petrochemical projects in Uzbekistan.

During a working visit to Tatarstan, the activities of Tatneft have been presented to Uzbekneftegaz delegation directly at production facilities.

The Company has a successful track record of implementing petrochemical projects. As part of the visit to the Nizhnekamsk business sector of the Company, representatives of Uzbekistan got acquainted with the activities of the TANECO Complex, the prospects for the development of the project and the products it produces. Today, the refinery is operating at record-high rates in terms of refining depth, light oil product output and primary oil refining capacity utilization.

The Uzbek delegation visited the TATNEFT tire complex, where the advantages of the design of all-steel tires were shown to the guests.

Representatives of Uzbekistan also visited TATNEFT's drilling modeling and control centers. The Company's competencies enable the formation of scientific and technical sites for exploration and field development, feasibility studies, field development design with the selection and implementation of geological and technical measures, methods of increasing oil recovery, etc.

'A very trusting relationship has developed between the leaders of our republics. We consider Uzbekistan a fraternal country, the Uzbek people a fraternal people. Recently, our joint projects with Uzbekistan have received a new impetus, new directions have appeared for the development of partnership. We have outlined further steps to expand cooperation'.
