The enterprises of TATNEFT Group were conferred four Grand Prix awards of the XXVIIIth International Specialized Exhibition 'Oil, Gas. Petrochemistry', which was taking place in Kazan from August 31 to September 2.

The exhibition events were organized within the framework of the Tatarstan Oil and Gas Chemical Forum dedicated to the Year of Science and Technology. The awarding ceremony took place with the participation of Rustam Minnikhanov the President of the Republic of Tatarstan at the premises of the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center.

The highest award in the 'Innovative Environmentally Safe Technologies' nomination was awarded to TATNEFT for the 'Circular Forest' project.

TATNEFT Company won the Grand Prix in the category 'Energy-saving technologies and equipment' for the engineering development of a positive displacement pump unit for the reservoir pressure maintenance system and the IInd Degree Diploma for the technology of SAGD pair well development through a production well.

The TatNIPIneft Institute of the Company was awarded the Grand Prix in the nomination 'Enhanced Oil Recovery' for the technology of waterflooding control with application of alternating injection of gel-forming and multifunctional selective systems to provide for increasing crude oil recovery (GSS technology).

TATNEFT received the Grand Prix for the project 'Automated Workstation for Oil and Gas Production Operator' in the 'Digital Technologies' nomination, while the TatNIPIneft Institute was awarded the 1st Degree Diploma for the creation of domestic software for the geomechanical modeling (GMS complex)

The Company also received the Ist Degree Diploma for the development and implementation of a software package for automatic well clustering in the nomination 'The Best Technical Solution for the Purpose of Geological, Cartographic and Geodetic Activities'.

The senior management and professionals of TATNEFT participate in the scientific and practical events of the Forum, including a conference dedicated to the decision of the European Union on decarbonization and a new paradigm for the development of the fuel and energy complex of Russia, as well as discussing the prospects for the development of energy systems, etc.
