• This weekend's race at Daytona International Speedway marks the first event of the 2012 racing season and the 50th Anniversary of the Rolex At Daytona. It also marks the first season with the new DPG3 body style for the prototype class.
• Since 2006, CGRFS has won four Rolex 24s and finished runner-up twice.
• The team is looking to defend last year's win after a one, two finish.
• The No. 01 had a mechanical failure during the second practice session causing the team to sit out qualifying. They will line-up at the tail-end of the DP field when the green flag drops on Saturday.
• Scott Pruett, No. 01 - "Losing an engine was a huge surprise. Clearly, we never had a problem like this. But in the long run in a 24-hour race, this doesn't mean anything. If you have a problem, it's nice to find it now instead of one hour into the race."
• Scott Dixon qualified the No. 02 and placed it in third position.
• The No. 01 team was able to get the motor changed out in time to run in the night practice session. The No. 02 team opted not to run in the session so they could execute a planned motor change.

Tomorrow's schedule includes - two practice sessions with the first beginning at 9:00 am ET. The 50th running of the Rolex At Daytona is scheduled to begin at 3:30 pm ET on Saturday, January 28 with the entire race scheduled to air on SPEED channel.
